All those around her knew that Dr. Mrs. Pramod Salgaocar was going to shake things up in the healthcare sector during her astounding academic career at Bombay University. A litany of prizes throughout her medical career have marked her many achievements. Along with having run various clinics, she has worked at multiple reputed hospitals and been part of organisations such as Red Cross.

At Geno, she is the Executive Director of Medical Services (administration and HRD).

A formidable woman, Dr. Pramod has chaired many powerful boards and was the first female president of the IMA Goa State 2002-03. She has also been part of the Mapusa Rotary Club for more than two decades. Beyond medicine, she continues to explore art and cinema by way of producing Konkani and Marathi films. She has also set her imprint in the political world for she believes that quality healthcare is not an isolated pursuit. The best health for the most people exists in a healthy ecosystem. One that she has striven to create in India.
